We are currently hiring for a Senior Consultant aligned to our DBA Business. The Control-M product line is BMC’s orchestration and automation platform. It helps the world's largest companies to automate time-sensitive, business-critical workflows. We orchestrate data and machine learning pipelines, supply chains, production lines, financial transactions, and other processes in complex IT environments worldwide. We continuously grow by adding and implementing the most cutting-edge technologies, conducting innovative Just Do It marathons, thinking about new features to add and investing in our employee training programs!

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

You will lead or join small teams at client sites, including BMC, partner, and customer resources, to achieve objectives and expand BMC client relationships.
You will apply technology effectively to improve the efficiency of specific IT functions or applications.
You will comprehend large-scale integrated applications from both a process and business perspective.
You will implement, customize, and configure BMC products in alignment with BMC's defined Route to Value.
You will integrate BMC products with other software applications and ensure seamless connectivity.
You will improve the quality and efficiency of solutions delivered to BMC clients, contributing to BMC's business margins.
You will be accountable to clients for achieving specific outcomes as directed by project managers and technical leads, while effectively articulating how BMC solutions align with client needs.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, continuously enhance your skills, and proactively identify new business opportunities with customers for follow-up by BMC Account teams.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

Subject Matter Expert in Workload Automation Products (i.e., Control-M, CA7, CA ESP, IWS/z)
Subject Matter Expert Output Manager Products (i.e., Control-M Output Manager, CA View/Deliver, CA Dispatch)
Subject Matter Expert JCL Verify Products (i.e., Control-M JCL Verify, CA JCLCheck)
Subject Matter Expert in Tape products (i.e., CA1, TLMS, Control-M Tape)

Qualifications/Experience/Certifications (Desirable)

ITIL v3 Foundation
Understanding of different software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
Cloud Computing experience
Exposure to and involvement with multiple simultaneous projects and cross team dependencies.
Project management skills
Knowledge of BMC Workload Automation solutions
Control-M product certification
Knowledge of effective use of SharePoint, Salesforce and OpenAir
