At BMC, we're reimagining how data powers business decisions. As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst – Sales Operations, you'll play a pivotal role in building scalable, governed, and AI-ready analytics solutions that support our Sales, Renewals, Services, and Customer Success organizations.

This is more than a reporting role—you'll help define the future of analytics at BMC by creating trusted data products, enabling self-service insights, and shaping next-generation AI-driven experiences. Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
  • Design and deliver executive-grade Tableau dashboards, KPI frameworks, and analytics products that drive business performance.
  • Build scalable self-service analytics capabilities that empower teams with trusted, actionable insights.
  • Develop and optimize analytics-ready data models within Snowflake to support a wide range of GTM use cases.
  • Partner directly with Sales, Renewals, Customer Success, and Services leaders to translate business needs into impactful data solutions.
  • Establish and promote data governance, data quality, security, and row-level access controls across reporting assets.
  • Help shape BMC's AI-enabled analytics vision by creating AI-ready semantic layers and governed datasets that support natural language querying and automated insights.
  • Drive adoption of modern analytics capabilities by combining dashboards, governed data products, and AI-assisted exploration.
  • Mentor analysts and champion best practices in data modeling, visualization, performance optimization, and storytelling.
  • Influence strategic decision-making by delivering insights that improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline visibility, and revenue performance.
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Sales Operations, Analytics, or related data-focused roles.
  • Advanced expertise in Tableau, including dashboard development, visualization best practices, performance tuning, and executive reporting.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake or comparable cloud data platforms.
  • Advanced SQL skills with proven experience in data modeling, query optimization, and scalable dataset design.
  • Experience developing self-service analytics solutions and governed reporting environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel for analysis, modeling, validation, and business insights.
  • Knowledge of data governance, access controls, security frameworks, and Row-Level Security (RLS).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence business stakeholders and translate strategic requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and business teams to deliver measurable outcomes.

  • Emerging technologies and best practices in next-generation business intelligence and self-service analytics.

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 2,841,000 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
