BMC is looking for a talented Automation Engineer to join our automation team, which works on complex and distributed software by developing automated tests, test infrastructure and supporting the company in ensuring product quality.

As a member of this team, you will develop automation test and tests infrastructure for a variety of products and features while using a manifest of technologies. You will face professional challenges and opportunities alongside a rewarding work environment and play an important role in new and innovative automation projects and teams.

In this role, you will be:

Developing and executing effective Python tests & strategies for SaaS and On-Premises products from functional, performance, and load aspects.
Developing tests infrastructures for large-scale tests environments consisting of multiple virtualized & containerized serves and operating systems
Developing and integrating with industry-standard monitoring tools
Providing a quality narrative of our products from functional, operative, and performance points of view

What we are looking for:

4+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing (backend\web\api)
Experience in Python
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, programming, or equivalent practical experience

It would be an advantage for you to have:

Experience with standard automated test tools & Addons: Selenium or equivalent.
Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and product life cycle.
Technical knowledge and experience with windows, Unix & Mac OS. Experience with Unix/Linux.
