You will work with IZOT Team, which is responsible for conceptualizing and delivering quality release for various BMC products. This is an excellent opportunity for you if you are passionate about delivering quality products.

The role responsibilities include designing and executing test cases for the newly built Product features, Enhancements and automate tests using hybrid automation framework.

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science
5+ years of experience with QA test automation of z/OS products
Strong experience with TSO/ISPF, SMP/E, SDSF, JES2/3, SMF, JCL, z/OS Utilities

· Good knowledge RACF required, RACF ADMIN experience beneficial

· Basic knowledge of alternate z/OS security systems such as CA’s ACF2 and CA’s Top Secret beneficial

· Knowledge of basic Windows or Mac Terminal commands

· Strong working experience with REXX essential

· Good working experience with Python required

Experience with Font-End Browser based QA essential
Strong working experience with Jenkins automation tool essential
Experience with Agile development methodology
Position requires the candidate to be a fast learner, good team player with excellent communication skills
Good proficiency in English language is required

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:

· Basic knowledge of additional programming languages such as Assembler, COBOL, JavaScript, HTML, C/C++ beneficial

Additional experience with z/VM, z/Linux, Windows, Mac/OS, UNIX or Linux a bonus
Good knowledge of Networking tools such as FTP, IND$FILE, XMIT
Good working knowledge of Zowe beneficial
Basic Knowledge of SSH/Ajax/RESTful APIs helpful

· Experience with the Chrome/browser developer console beneficial

Experience with QA test automation scripting frameworks such as TPNS, UFT, Selenium, Robot Framework or others is beneficial
Experience with PYTHON for test automation scripts is beneficial
Experience with Jira for defect reporting and Agile Scrum Board work tracking/updating beneficial
Knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) product execution and installation is beneficial
Experience in 2^nd-Line Technical Support of z/OS-based products is beneficial
Experience with Windows, Unix & Linux admin & security is beneficial
