We are looking for a highly skilled Control-M L3 Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise workload automation solutions. The candidate will play a key role in job scheduling, platform administration, migration execution, and troubleshooting, ensuring high availability and operational efficiency. 
Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

1. Design and manage Control-M job scheduling workflows, including dependencies, calendars, SLAs, and SMART folders .
2. Perform Control-M administration activities including configuration, upgrades, and environment management 
3. Execute migration activities (conversion, validation, and cutover support) 
4. Develop and manage Automation API-based job definitions using JSON 
5. Troubleshoot Control-M agents and platform issues, ensuring minimal downtime 
6. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using logs and debugging techniques 
7. Work with cross-platform environments (Linux/Unix, Windows, Solaris) 
9. Support cloud-integrated workloads across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud 
10. Collaborate with database teams using basic SQL for validation and troubleshooting 
11. Participate in incident management and continuous improvement initiatives 
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience: 

1. Hands-on experience of 5 - 8 years in  Control-M enterprise environments.
2. Experience in migration and cloud-enabled workload automation preferred 
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
4. Control-M Core - Job scheduling, dependencies, calendars, SLAs, SMART folders 
5. Control-M Administration - Installation, configuration, maintenance 
6. Migration Execution- Conversion, validation, and cutover activities 
7. Automation API - JSON-based job definitions  
8. OS / Platforms - Linux/Unix, Windows, Solaris 
9. Control-M Agent - Troubleshooting and issue resolution 
10. Cloud - Working knowledge of AWS / Azure / Google Cloud
11. Database - SQL for validation and troubleshooting
12. Troubleshooting - Debugging, log analysis, RCA

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 2,117,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
