- Provide L2/L3 operational support on BMC Discovery as per agreed SLAs.
- Responsible for leading and/or participating in small teams comprised of BMC, partner and customer resources at client sites to deliver required outcomes and produce additional business with BMC clients.
- Maintain BMC Discovery platform availability as per the agreed availability commitment
- Understands how to apply technology to improve the operational effectiveness or efficiency of specific functions or applications.
- Customise and configure BMC Discovery capabilities in a complex Cluster Env.
- Recommend & plan upgrades/patches and roll out of new features
- Integrate BMC products to each other and third-party applications.
- Improve the quality and efficiency of the solutions delivered to BMC clients as a means to improve BMC business margins.
- Accountable to client for achieving specific outcomes by delivering services as directed by the project manager and technical lead.
- Ability to transfer knowledge of the BMC approach to business service management.
- Strong hands-on experience in BMC Discovery (ADDM) administration, configuration, integrations, and customizations.
- Experience installing and maintaining Discovery in distributed/clustered environments.
- Deep expertise in Discovery–CMDB integrations, application modeling, and TPL development.
- Proficient in TPL scripting, Unix, Perl, SQL, and Discovery query/reporting APIs.
- 6–9 years of relevant experience in BMC Helix ITSM/Remedy/CMDB.
- Background in Managed Services / Consulting environments.
- Solid understanding of cloud technologies, networking, and database fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; able to work independently or in teams.
- Customer-facing experience with ability to coordinate with vendors and internal groups.
- Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and provide on‑call support.
- Engineering/Computer Science bachelor’s degree required.
