GSD (Global Services Delivery) is a global delivery organization responsible for delivering BMC solutions to our customer worldwide. This group is responsible for managing latest BMC technologies and making sure customers get the maximum value from their investment.    
Position Overview - This position will provide technical post-implementation/go-live services for enterprise software solutions throughout for BMC’s worldwide customers. The Application Managed Services Consultant will provide consultative operational services on BMC Client Management. The Consultant must be able to multi task in a fast-paced environment since they will be working on incidents, problems, releases, patching, upgrades, integrations simultaneously.

Key Accountabilities/Duties:
  • Provide L2/L3 operational support on BMC Client Management, BMC Server Automation as per agreed SLAs
  • Maintain BMC Client Management (BCM) platform availability as per agreed availability commitment
  • Develop new customizations, integrations and reports
  • Troubleshoot BCM application, customizations, integration issues.
  • Follow the ITIL standard best processes. 
  • Recommend & plan upgrades/patches and roll out of new features
  • Assist customer drive adoption of the Client Management solution across the environments
  • Work closely with Service Owners to review service delivery quality with focus on continuous improvement

  • Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree. 
  • Experience level 5-10+ years
  • Should have worked in Managed Services environment 
  • Extensive experience in the implementation, administration and configuration of BMC Client Management
  • Experience with Desktop/Endpoint deployment automation architecture, design/migration and troubleshooting
  • Knowledgeable in desktop virtualization and thin client technologies
  • Implement and support following BMC Client Management modules 
  • Inventory Management, Compliance Management, Patch Management
  • Software distribution and license management
  • Device Security, OS Deployment, Remote Control
  • Application Management, Mobile device management
  • Configuring Patch Manager to schedule & deploy patches
  • Configuration of packages & application management
  • Configuration on Compliance manager module for software license
  • Configure OOTB and custom reports
  • Integration with Atrium CMDB
  • Experience on Windows/UNIX/LINUX operating systems and ITIL framework is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of networking and database concepts
  • Well organized with a positive attitude, ability to work in customer facing env & should be able to communicate with Customers, Vendors, and other internal groups as required.
  • Exercises independent judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Willing to work in shifts, weekend and on-call support will be required.
