As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting our commitment to compliance and efficiency. This dynamic position will give you the opportunity to collaborate with a talented global team, contribute to key financial decisions, and play an integral role in the modernization of our financial processes.

Here’s How You Will Contribute to BMC’s and Your Own Success:

  • You will manage the deferred revenue balance sheet for your designated region, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and work closely with the World Wide Revenue Recognition team to record and adjust revenue as needed.
  • You will drive audit excellence by supporting quarterly reviews and annual audits, focusing on SOX compliance, and documenting key financial processes to maintain transparency and efficiency.
  • You will ensure financial accuracy by preparing monthly reconciliations between contra-revenue and the general ledger, while managing accounting adjustments related to acquisitions.
  • You will leverage your analytical skills to create and deliver both standard and ad-hoc reports, presentations, and data insights that support leadership in data-driven decision-making.
  • You will collaborate with global teams to support financial projects, including audit preparation, revenue adjustments, and key month-end, quarter-end, and year-end deliverables.

To Ensure You’re Set Up for Success, You will bring the following skillset:

  • You have 6 to 10 years of experience in finance, ideally within a leading IT or ITES company.
  • BSc or MSc in Accounting or related field, CPA preferred , with an MBA in Finance being a plus.
  • You are tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel), and working knowledge of Oracle ERP or SAP.
  • You are a critical thinker, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and have strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with senior leadership and US clients.
  • You are flexible, willing to work US shift timings and adapt to scheduling needs during month-end and quarter-end close cycles.
  • Ideally, You have experience with Zuora RevPro, MicroStrategy, OneStream, Tableau, and MS Access.
  • You are familiar with maintaining SOX-compliant processes and have experience preparing high-volume journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is SGD 68,625 - SGD 114,375
