 The SSM reports to the primary interface for Sales in their assigned territory. The SSM has the following responsibilities :-  Connects and build relationships with AM’s and RSM’s and has the ability to partner with the sales teams and act as best trusted partner Acts symbiotic, to accelerate the sales success and added value to the sales process Represents all services capabilities to customers Owns services pursuits (signings quota) and revenue performance in territory-Accountable for the Customer relationship and success Participates in the SOW/RFP process handling customers objections and explaining BMC solutions in prep meetings, requirements workshops, and discovery sessions Works in conjunction with the area Solution Architects leveraging technical knowledge and positioning BMC as a champion against competitors Identifying risks, resource allocations, and schedules for project success and customer value realization Makes sure that work is performed in compliance with SOP’s Recognized by customer as a trusted advisor in product deployment and process decisions Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the delivery process securing key references at all levels Proven track record of executing RFP/SOW process lifecycle with area sales teams responding to RFP/SOW deadlines and driving to close bookings and successfully delivering projects Have met/exceeded bookings and utilization targets Strong presentation skills: Showing the value, capabilities, and differentiators of complex service solutions using methodologies and Service Offerings Breadth of knowledge executing the RFP/SOW/Proposal processes by scoping, producing, and delivering to the customer RFP’s/SOW’s that meet customers documented requirements for value realization with first time quality as aligned to their business and use cases Can articulate relevant customer success stories and metrics that demonstrate value to the customer Has worked with a Contract and Project Management Offices to adhere to best practices and business guidelines Proven track record of executing projects on time and on budget while maintain margins and managing resources effectively to product high quality work
