With the renewals business as a strategic emphasis for the company, and a very large portion of total revenue, you will be a critical piece to our success.
 
This role is responsible for providing extraordinary Sales Operations support to the Global Renewals Sales organization (also known as “Renewals”). Duties include ensuring all activities and reporting adhere to established policies and procedures. You will provide counsel on planning, resource allocation, territory management, and matrix align to the AVP of Renewals providing seamless sales operations support.
 
You will work cross functionally to find innovative ways to partner renewals, with field sales, and other sales operations teams to monitor forecast accuracy, pipeline hygiene and other issues. You will proactively assess complex issues and quickly determine the appropriate course of action.
 
You will be customer focused and results oriented. Your extraordinary communication skills will help you collaborate and build consensus at all levels in the organization.

  • Create and drive transformation and automation in Renewals through working with team leadership to implement new processes and systems
  • Develop business partner relationships with Global Renewals Sales leadership to provide end-to-end operations management and analytics for the team
  • Lead the annual planning playbook process for Renewals and implement the Renewals financial plan
  • Manage Renewals forecasting and analysis of financial results in tandem with Finance
  • Oversee Renewals quota calculation and coverage review, quota letter issuance, and quota performance and maintenance
  • Drive increased accuracy and transparency into global Renewals dataset to enable planning and quota setting for all sales teams
  • Ensure ongoing communications from the Sales Operations organization to the Renewals organization (policies, procedures, & etc.)
  • Understand, manage, and communicate Global Compensation Policies
  • Data preparation, transformation, and analysis to support analytics
  • Drive and maintain pipeline coverage and hygiene and forecast accuracy through reporting, enablement, and automation
  • Analyze key metrics in support of the BMC go-to-market strategy
  • Deliver dashboards & presentations to support key executive meetings including QBRs and ELT meetings
  • Work with peers in Sales Operations, Finance, and across the Operations organization to create process efficiencies
  • Drive and participate in new initiatives that positively impact the organization in a meaningful way
  • Continuously evaluate and look for ways to improve the level of service and support to key stakeholders
 
Preferred Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic performance in Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business, Statistics, or another quantitative or analytical field
  • 7+ years of experience in Business Analyst, Finance Analyst, Sales Operations, or similar function leading multiple complex initiatives from conception to execution in a fast-paced work environment
  • Expert in sales, customer success, and CRM processes and quota/territory management with a solid understanding of the Enterprise Software space
  • Experience taking ownership of end-to-end processes and driving decisions
  • Experience supporting executives in financial planning/analysis or sales operations analysis.
  • Experience working with sales operations tools such as Salesforce.com (SFDC), strong Excel & PowerPoint skills, Tableau (plus), Microstrategy (plus), Miro or whiteboarding software (plus)
  • Strong data analytics and program management skills
