Description and Requirements
The Business Contracts Analyst will support the World-Wide (WW) Deal Desk governance and strategic projects.
The Analyst will be responsible for helping support WW approvals/review of Deals that qualify for Deal Desk review;
• Support Field and Best Practices to address DD approval requirements
• Provide field guidance to improve overall deal quality and limit risk to company through better contract structure
Help track and identify areas of risk to deal quality and drive revenue growth opportunities through special projects
• Help manage quarterly deal quality reviews; automate reporting, assess risk areas and identify strategic programs to enhance
• Work with other business functions to address new/trending terms that may drive additional risk to business
• Help manage 3D pricing program, automate quarterly reviews and program expansion in partnership with McKinsey
Work with Business Intelligence to identify biggest areas of opportunity for driving revenue growth
• Propose needed programs & make recommendations on required resources or enhanced reviews
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 4+ years professional work experience
• Background in financial analysis or software revenue accounting; a plus
• Background in contract structure is a plus
• Experience working with sales
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel & Tableau
• Demonstrated ability to clearly articulate deal requirements, contract structure and risks to executives
