Position Description

The PRM Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Partner Relationship Management (PRM) system to support the Deal Registration program for BMC Partners. This role ensures the smooth operation of partner deal registrations, accurate data management, and seamless interaction between partners and internal teams. The ideal candidate should have experience with PRM tools and a strong understanding of partner ecosystems, including deal workflows, validation processes, and partner engagement strategies.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities

The successful Candidate will be responsible for the following:

             PRM System Administration:

o    Manage and maintain the PRM platform to support the Deal Registration program.

o    Configure and optimize workflows, forms, and dashboards for partner deal submissions and approvals.

o    Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to deal registration and PRM system performance.

o    Coordinate system enhancements in collaboration with the BMC Global Partner Ops and Sales teams working with the BMC IT team.

o    Collaborate with GPS Ops, and IT teams to ensure alignment on PRM enhancements and PRM fixes.

             Deal Registration Support:

o    Oversee the end-to-end process of deal registration, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

o    Validate submitted deals based on company policies, ensuring compliance with program requirements.

o    Manage deal registration workflows, including approvals, escalations, and exceptions.

o    Provide support to partners and internal teams on deal registration processes and system usage.

             Data Management & Reporting:

o    Maintain accurate partner and deal data within the PRM system.

o    Conduct audits to ensure accuracy of the deal registration review process.

o    Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations to improve program efficiency and partner success.

             Partner Engagement:

o    Serve as a point of contact for partners using the PRM system for deal registration.

o    Create training (ex. Guides, videos) for Partners on how to utilize PRM system for deal registration

o    Provide training and guidance to partners on deal registration workflows and best practices.

o    Ensure clear communication of updates, program changes, and policy adjustments to partners and for internal teams.


Desired Qualifications (Knowledge and Skills)

             4+ years of experience in PRM system administration, partner programs, or deal registration.

             Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and channel sales processes.

             Strong IT skills, including high levels of proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. CRM/SFDC reporting knowledge, Oracle skills are a plus.

             Hands-on experience with PRM tools (e.g., Salesforce PRM) or CRM systems.

             Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).

             Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support and train external partners.

             Detail-oriented and process-driven, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

             Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Engineering, or a related field

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,638,100 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
