Job Description: Global Services – Resourcing Specialist – Partner Operations 

The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively within a busy team to process bookings requests, transforming them into orders and placing those on external BMC Software vendors.  

The model applicant will have a strong IT background, an eye for detail, and the ability to work independently to organize workload to meet deadlines. Knowledge of order processing would be an advantage.

This role requires the use of core business applications, OpenAir, Oracle. and Microsoft office, working to established processes in a timely manner to meet order processing objectives. Working to process also requires interaction and collaboration within an extended internal team and other departments plus external vendors. 

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Monitor CSP Pre-Approved booking requests queue in OpenAir
  • Follow end to end process to produce contractual documentation and supporting purchase order
  • Issue documentation to BMC vendors for signature and internally for BMC countersignature
  • Maintaining and administering shared Outlook mailboxes

Secondary Responsibilities
  • Work with CS Resource Managers to prioritize submitted bookings in support of month / quarter end
  • Work with accounts payable to deal with invoice issues from BMC Vendors
  • Maintain CS Executed Partner Agreements in central Sharepoint contract repository
  • Work with Procurement to setup / deactivate CSP vendors in OpenAir
  • Investigate and resolve time interface errors
  • OpenAir Administration, setup activation / deactivation of CSP Vendors
  • Create new CSP Vendor contracts – collaboration with BMC Procurement 
o Administer OpenAir Vendor tag table 

Required Skills & Experience
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Knowledge of OpenAir or staffing software, Oracle and SharePoint major advantage
  • Clear and grammatically correct verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness with regard to all processes 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with peers and Management
  • Ability to work independently using escalation process as required to achieve stated objectives
  • Self-starter with strong organizational skills who is willing and able to take initiative and adapt to change
  • Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
