BMC is looking for an Experienced QA & Automation Engineer to join our team.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

Develop and maintain robust Automation framework
Accurate estimations for testing functional and non-functional requirements
Works closely with cross teams to ensure products achieve desired level of quality.
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting and figuring out solutions & not reporting only problems
Accurately report status to required levels of leadership/management.
Always look out for Upcoming trends in the product / solution & their impact, Influencing the stakeholders for any inclusions/exclusions. Identifying tools/techniques that can improve the efficiency
Contribute to product and process improvements and refinement of QA practices.
RCA: To be able to analyze customer case and derive the use case which will ensure catching the defect
Prepare test cases from requirements, source documents and execute test cases, test case reviews.
Able to contribute to architectural discussions in release level architectural discussions
Follow established organizational processes.
Participate in the documentation, development and improvement of processes and procedures.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

You have hands on experience in testing Enterprise products and owning Test modules from E2E perspective
You are experience into testing Web, Client server applications built in Java
You have hands on experience with automation/scripting (Selenium/Java/Cypress) and
scripting, Java Script, Groovy, Perl, Python
You have a good understanding on SaaS products and processes along with cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Jenkins, Rancher, OpenShift, AWS, Oracle cloud)
You are well versed with Kubernetes, DevOps and
Agile Methodologies
You are experience in test cases creation, execution, defect reporting
Good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

Worked on Remedy App products (ITSM, CMDB, BWF etc.)
Diverse experience in testing on different Operating systems flavors Windows/Unix
Domain expertise in Infrastructure Management a plus
Good knowledge on databases Oracle/Postgres

Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
