Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Position Purpose
BMC Project Specialist will be responsible for supporting area services delivery. The Project Specialist will be assigned as Project Administrator as well as act as program team member responsible for managing administration activities on Global Delivery programs. The Project Specialist responsibilities may include resource scheduling, revenue and consulting services partners costs projections, tracking and reporting; coordinating fulfillment of project milestones; budget tracking and reporting; managing project expenses and billing; and fulfilling Portfolio requirements as assigned.
QUALIFICATION:
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 8+ years of Industry experience in a PMO Specialist/Analyst role working for a Global Consulting/Services organizations supporting implementation of enterprise software solutions
- Experience with PMO governance processes including status reporting, budget and financial tracking, and issue resolution.
- Knowledge of Software development life cycle (Waterfall/Agile)
- Good communications skills – Verbal and written - listens and communicates effectively
- MS Excel, MS Office
- Experience using a Project tracking tool like OpenAir or similar
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:
- PMP/Certified Associate Project Management Certification
- Experience of using MS Project MPP
