BU/PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

GSD (Global Services Delivery) is a global delivery organization responsible for delivering BMC solutions to our customer worldwide. It provides unique opportunity to meet customers and solve their business problem by consultative approach. This group is responsible for managing latest BMC technologies and making sure customers get the maximum value from their investment.   

PRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:

Perform the following PMO activities for Expert Services Engagements:

  • OpenAir Administration
    • Resource booking and alignment
    • Creating WBS and assigning it to team members
    • Update Project Status
    • Approval of timesheets and expenses as per BMC/Customer expense policy
    • Creation and Submission of Billing Summaries

Other Administrative activities under supervision of GEO AVP

  • Raise Manages Non-Billable Investment Pool (NBIP) requests
  • Perform Time and Expense Moves
  • Review reports from MicroStrategy and take corrective measures to update OpenAir (Resource/Revenue correction)
  • Work on Invoice collection (for escalated invoices)
  • On-board / off-board assets, resources through procurement of access to tools, facilities, and systems

Relationships / Sales focused activities:

  • Act as a customer point of contact for Expert Services projects they manage.
  • Raise Contract Change Orders.
  • Identify upsell opportunities on active projects.
  • Identify ways to enhance customer experience there by improving NPS scores.

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Math / Science / Computer Science as subject
  • PMP, PRINCE 2 Practitioner or other formal training in Project Management methodology (preferred)
  • ITIL Foundation certification (preferred)
  • BMC Excellence badge

·         Knowledge of project management lifecycle – advanced level

Technical Skills:


·         Microsoft Project – intermediate level

·         Microsoft office apps - Word, Excel – intermediate level

·         OpenAir - intermediate level

·         Salesforce.com – basic to intermediate level

Soft Skills:


·         Written and spoken English to be able to communicate independently with Managers / Consultants / Customers – intermediate to advanced level

PMO Skills:


·         Organizational and planning skills

EXPERIENCE:


  • 6(+) years of experience in the IT industry with at least one year in supporting PMO activities for leading IT Services Company.
  • Good understanding of working with teams spread across different GEOs in an onshore-offshore delivery, preferably working in an offshore delivery center.
  • Customer interaction experience, supporting Global PM teams working for leading Customers in North America, Canada, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and other English-speaking countries.
