BMC is looking for a DevOps Engineer who's passionate about innovation and technology!

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

Participates in module design with focus paid to the production of high quality, portable, maintainable and BMC standards compliant software; Provides design and requirement inputs to product architect in support of aforementioned goals
A team member who is passionate about quality and demonstrate creativity and innovation in enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies as required for a successful project delivery.
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Critiques the initial problem analysis and ensures that all documentation necessary for problem resolution is available in a timely manner.
Reviews and monitors the problem status data to ensure sufficient back up for the support team.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

You can embrace, live and breathe our BMC values every day!
You have 2-3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer developing using Python, SH scripting, REST API
You worked with CI/CD and DevOps technologies using tools such as: Jenkins, K8S, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, GIT, Helm, etc.
You have knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, MS AZ & GCP).
You worked in an Agile methodology
You are a team player who loves to learn and adopt cutting-edge technologies

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

Kafka, Elastic, Kubernetes, Redis
Ability to run and evolve CI/CD processes.
Knowledge of existing relevant BMC products

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,638,100 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
