BU Description:

Continued Value Technologies (CVT) group is responsible for the products that have proven value, large install bases, and loyal customers who are deriving business benefits from them. CVT will focus on the care and nurturing of these products, creating new features that make the products more sticky and drive increased use—all while nurturing deep customer relationships. CVT includes products used by more than 50% of BMC customers

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

As Product Developer, you will be working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. You will be managing a varied workload of multiple ongoing tasks including new function development and product maintenance. You will be communicating with various teams to help resolve customer issues. As part of the development team, it would be your responsibility to develop and debugging of software products.

QUALIFICATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Overall 4+ years of Software Product development experience

· Proficient with Angular 10 and above

· Strong experience in Angular, JavaScript, Bootstrap, JQuery for responsive UI development

· Core Java, Spring, REST API development

· Experience with GIT repository and JIRA tools

· Experience with test driven software development

· Independently design and implement features that address customer needs with a sense of ownership within given timelines

· Good problem solving skills

· Ability to work in Agile fast-paced environment and a good team player

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:

· Exposure to NoSql Database, Redis Cache, ElasticSearch

· Containerization/Container Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes

· Cloud Computing Platforms: any one of these AWS, Azure, GCP.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is INR 1,228,575 - INR 2,047,625.
