Description and Requirements

BMC Software is looking for a motivated and skilled individual to join the Product Security Group. This is a senior technical position in the team. The candidate will be responsible for engaging with various product teams on security architecture reviews, SaaS security, penetration testing and container security.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • You will provide subject matter expertise for SaaS Security and application security.
  • You will be working with multiple R&D teams for SaaS security. Be a liaison between Product Security Group, SaaS Operations, Product Development and other teams.
  • Implement security controls for the public cloud (such as AWS and Azure).
  • Support necessary application security practices such as secure coding.
  • 3+ years of experience in product security (combination of web, mobile, API, cloud, infrastructure and container security) or equivalent skillset. Experience with pen testing is required. Prior participation in bug bounty programs is a big plus.
  • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (Data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM), and network security) within SaaS environments.
  • Hands-on technical experience designing and implementing security solutions for leading cloud service providers e.g., AWS.
  • Experience with secure code review (SAST) tools for C/C++, Java, and Python languages and relevant frameworks.
