BMC is looking for an Experienced DevOps Engineer who's passionate about innovation and technology!

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

Participates in module design with focus paid to the production of high quality, portable, maintainable and BMC standards compliant software; Provides design and requirement inputs to product architect in support of aforementioned goals
A team member who is passionate about quality and demonstrate creativity and innovation in enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills.
Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies as required for successful project delivery.
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Critiques the initial problem analysis and ensures that all documentation necessary for problem resolution is available in a timely manner.
Reviews and monitors the problem status data to ensure sufficient backup for the support team.
Coaches junior support team members in handling difficult customer situations.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

You have 4- 8 years of experience
You have strong working knowledge of the following technologies: DevOps, Kubernetes, Containers, OpenShift.
LINUX Operating Systems, Shell script, GIT repository , Build tools: Jenkins

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

Python/NodeJS Scripting knowledge
Kafka, elastic search, Redis, Postges, VictoriaMetrics
TestTrack , JIRA,Confluence tools.
Microservice development and architecture
Security Best Practices/Principles
