BMC is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our global team of highly skilled software developers.

 In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and maintaining both new and existing features. This dynamic position involves equal involvement in frontend and backend development (50% each), ensuring our enterprise B2B SaaS product remains seamless and high performing.

  • A team member who is passionate about quality and demonstrate creativity and innovation in enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills.
  • Works with internal groups like Development, QA and other stakeholders through the development cycle. 
  • Ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies as required for a successful project delivery.
  • Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. 
  • Quickly develop working knowledge of many products and integrations. 
  • Proactive in learning new versions, products, modules 
  • Assist in managing quality initiatives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices
  • Explore and implement AI-driven enhancements to improve product intelligence and automation
  • Good written and oral communication skills in English.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Core Java and REST API development
  • Strong foundation in software fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms, design principles).
  • Core & Advanced Java.
  • RESTful API design and development.
  • Spring / Spring Boot framework.
  • UI development using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Angular (8+).
  • SQL query writing and optimization.
  • Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MS Access.
  • Exposure to SCM tools (e.g., Git).
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:
  • AI & Emerging Technology Exposure
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in enterprise products
  • Experience integrating AI/ML APIs or intelligent automation features is a plus
  • Interest in leveraging AI-driven solutions to enhance product capabilities and user experience

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 1,737,400 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
