BU Description:

Continued Value Technologies (CVT) group is responsible for the products that have proven value, large install bases, and loyal customers who are deriving business benefits from them. CVT will focus on the care and nurturing of these products, creating new features that make the products more sticky and drive increased use—all while nurturing deep customer relationships. CVT includes products used by more than 50% of BMC customers. BMC is looking for an Experienced Java Developer, an innovator at heart, to join a team of highly skilled software developers, responsible for BMC’s TrueSight Network Automation product.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

As Product Developer, you will be working on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. You will be managing a varied workload of multiple ongoing tasks including new function development and product maintenance. You will be communicating with various teams to help resolve customer issues. As part of the development team, it would be your responsibility to develop and debugging of software products.

QUALIFICATION:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Overall 4+ years of software product development experience

· Core & Advanced Java (Threading, Design Patterns, Data Structures) J2EE, REST web services, Spring framework.

· Front End Frameworks like Angular, React (Angular Preferred)

· Experience with test driven software development.

· Experience with REST API development.

· Independently design and implement features that address customer needs with a sense of ownership within given timelines.

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:

· Experience with GIT repository and JIRA tools.

· Experience in Agile development methods.
