Join BMC as our next Product Account Manager!
The Product Account Manager is responsible for selling the Workload Automation (WLA) product line into a large assigned account list located in the Central Region territory. The account assignments include large and key strategic named accounts, and/or high potential or prospect named accounts. Key accountabilities are to achieve their revenue goals each quarter, grow the number of new accounts and work on building larger deals to increase territory deal size overtime.- You like controlling your destiny, so you’ll own the full sales cycle. You’re up to the challenge of strong pipeline generation, execution, and acceleration through each stage to close. - You’re more than adept at accurate forecasting and territory planning. You won’t settle for less than meeting quarterly and annual sales objectives—in fact, you exceed them. - You have a deep understanding of our customers’ pain points and you know how our products uniquely address them. - You’re a natural negotiator, especially when it comes to internal dynamics—you can leverage all facets of the business, including inside sales, pre-sales, sales leadership, partners, best practices, marketing, and more. - You have C-level influence to enable BMC to be viewed as a trusted advisor. - You’re able to strengthen BMC’s access to decision makers and develop the business network organically. - You can build trust internally and externally by acting authentically and with integrity. - You keep up with current business practices, you value strong leadership, and you have insatiable curiosity for industry trends. - You thrive in a multi-faceted company staffed by objective-driven colleagues. - You bring an energy and spirit of innovation to everything you do. People like you because you’re honest, direct, and persistent without being pushy. - You are inquisitive and love building new relationships to create champions and identify economic buyers in new accounts. - You know that competition is thrilling, and that the basis of healthy competition is integrity. - You have an entrepreneurial spirit and a start-up mentality with demonstrated experience negotiating with enterprises of all sizes and verticals.
