The BMC Experience Design team is looking for a Principal Copywriter who can go beyond slogans and punchy headlines (those are givens). The right individual wields content to drive brand impact and improve customer experience. You’ll work collaboratively to craft intentional, impactful, memorable content for BMC. From brand messaging and website copy to video and advertising, what you write will span the content spectrum. On the other hand, how you write will be incredibly consistent, demonstrating a relentless commitment to quality and a mastery of voice. You understand that we are here to make our customers successful and strive to speak in their language, minimizing marketing-speak and reserving jargon for the appropriate moments. Often you will be responsible for strengthening the work of others, where you will bring the same attention to their work as you do to your own. In short, you’ll stand with us to bring the BMC brand to life. 
What you get to do every day:
•Produce high quality content, from concept to completion, in cross-functional collaboration with other writers, strategists, designers, and developers
•Bring rigor and rationale to all your work. Do the research, build the strategy, and frame the story to ensure your content is thoughtful, compelling, and thorough
•Contribute to the overall BMC brand experience by helping to evolve and maintain our brand voice and guidelines
•Apply your expertise to a wide range of content types and tasks, from writing articles and messaging to revising strategy documents
Your experience:
•7+ years copywriting experience, agency experience preferred
•A strong portfolio of work that demonstrates consistent, high-quality content creation within and across a variety of outlets and use cases
•Proven ability to translate technical concepts into relatable copy 
•Experience developing brand voice and messaging
•Ability to deliver on multiple priorities in a highly dynamic environment
•Attention to detail
•A track record of strong strategic and conceptual thinking
•Solid command of language
•Excellent communication skills
