Key Responsibility/Role Expectation
• Provide overall programming and technical support for BMC’s Eloqua Marketing Automation system, along with guidance on the impacts to the business
• Perform day-to-day system maintenance and configuration to the Eloqua tool
• Act as the first line of defense for proactive system monitoring (check daily reports and failed calls), as well as reactive problem resolution management
• Responsible for technical design activities to support business requests and work closely with teams to define, plus implement new functionality and product features
• Provide feedback, guidance, and expertise to functional marketing team members and key stakeholders on business needs/requirements
• Execute unit testing and support user acceptance testing for programs written in Eloqua
• Update field integrations between Eloqua, SalesForce.com CRM and CMS as needed.
• Responsible for managing the underlying data inputs / structures that impact the Marketing Automation system to scale and perform reliably
• Implement programs to populate/cleanse data fields as needed.
• Work closely with key internal stakeholders and Salesforce.com CRM team to develop customized reports to validate data loads and lead flow.
• Assist in the creation of dashboards that meet the specialized needs of end-user marketing clients to facilitate quick insights to further improve future campaign performance.
• Provide direct training to new internal users of the tool, as well as provision training/ support services provided by third parties.
• Mentor Junior members on the team and hand hold newer team members during on-boarding
• Help drive execution of deliverables
• Identify the technical skill gap within the team and work with Manager to mitigate it
Professional Experience
• Minimum of 9+ years of Administration experience with Oracle Eloqua and different facets of Marketing Cloud Products are a plus
• Salesforce.com implementation and administration experience
• Solid understanding of web technologies, relational databases and multi-tier applications
• Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment and deliver on commitments in a timely manner
• Ability to mentor and train people on technical skills
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Ability to extract and analyze data out of Oracle Eloqua and salesforce.com for troubleshooting and reporting
• Analytical skills, to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, and reconcile conflicts.
• Ability to translate user requests into underlying system needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with ability to comfortably work with a wide range of stakeholders across all levels including senior management at the Sr. Director and VP level
• Proven ability to communicate and build long term relationships with a diverse set of cross-functional business partners at all levels within the organization to partner, influence, negotiate and gain commitment to accomplish shared business goals while demonstrating a customer-oriented focus.
• Strong attention to detail, self-starter, and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously within a fast-paced matrixed environment
• Preferred: Oracle recognized certification Oracle Marketing Cloud E10
• MS Office Suite: high level of proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
