BMC Web Marketing is seeking a passionate, collaborative UX Lead to help research, reinvent, and optimize user experiences on BMC.com and associated domains. You will be joining a global team of strategists, developers, operators, and program managers focused on delivering constant value to our customers and the business.

Some initiatives you’ll get to help to build and lead:
  • Design testing programs to gain various types of inputs (usability testing, analytics, heatmapping, etc.) and share out perspectives that will inform strategy
  • Use all available data (quantitative and qualitative) to pinpoint areas of improvement and new opportunities for value
  • Collaborate with strategists to ideate value-driving, customer-centric features and experience enhancements
  • Produce high-quality wireframes and visual designs to guide component development
  • Produce thoughtful flow diagrams, wireframes, and other materials to guide and support content strategy
  • Ensure adherence to WCAG AA compliance
About You
  • You have 5+ years of experience leading interaction design and UI design for websites
  • You’ve earned a degree in UI Design, Psychology, Human Factors or related HCI discipline (or bring the equivalent experience)
  • You’re skilled at translating ideas into wireframes and prototypes, and have hands-on expertise with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, or similar
  • You have a background in developing and applying UI design patterns, standards, and guidelines
  • You have a background in mobile interaction design patterns for iOS and Android
  • You enjoy exploration and see ambiguity as an invitation to lead and discover
