We are currently hiring for a Payroll Analyst for our Guadalajara, Mexico office!


As the Payroll Analyst, you will process multiple country payrolls in Latin America including Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all payrolls, reporting, audits, and taxes, while being compliant with country specific legislation.  You will also be responsible for the administration of Global Severance Process (GSP) program for BMC globally.


What you get to do every day:
•Manage payroll processing schedule for multiple countries in LATAM, ensuring all deadlines are met.  
•Process payroll, commissions, discretionary pay (bonus and benefits), as well as any off-cycle payrolls relating to 13th payroll in various countries in accordance with local rules.
•Research and respond to all inquiries from employees, managers and internal/external sources providing input and guidance resolution on payroll and GSP related issues.
•Audit payroll calculations performed by vendors to ensure accuracy.
•Report payroll changes to payroll providers through various platforms for processing semi-monthly and monthly payrolls.
•Manage GSP program, ensuring all deadlines and reporting requirements are met.
  • Partner with HR Business Partner (HRBP) team to collect required data for global employee exits; including, exit timing, severance amounts, and business justifications.
  • Lead meetings to ensure required information is received and entered in the system on a timely basis
  • Accurately enter and audit severance data regularly to prepare reports for accounting in accordance with local regulations which vary country-to-country
  • Maintain exit dashboard in Excel highlighting separation status change
•Create semi-monthly reports for SVP of People & Spaces team to approve so accounting can accurately accrue exit data
•Act as liaison between various functional areas within BMC and local payroll providers in all LATAM countries.
•Ability to multitask and prioritize payroll requirements based on various deadlines and the ability to communicate with all employees and various levels of management, as needed.
•Create and maintain payroll procedures for all LATAM countries.


Experience and Education:
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.
•5+ years of multinational payroll processing, preferably related to Latin America.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various payroll software programs – strong Microsoft Excel skills required.  ADP platforms a plus.
•Knowledge of local country social security, taxes and employment legislation
•Multilingual in English and Spanish required, Portuguese a plus.
•Provide clear, concise, and professional communication to employees at all levels across the organization
•Experience working with local payroll outsourcing vendors
•Experience working with large amounts of data from various sources to ensure reporting is accurate, complete, and meet established payroll and GSP deadlines.
•Strong communication skills and ability to understand local severance requirements in a way that allows for discussion with HRBP team and accounting teams to ensure compliance with both internal and external needs.
