Description and Requirements

As the partner manager you will be responsible for leading partner initiatives regionally which includes but is not limited to: Colombia, Central America, and Caribbean countries.

The objectives for this role will be to ensure high quality service delivery, improve transaction velocity, and drive automation and optimization in day-to-day work along with increased coverage of our partner community. 

In this role you will support a variety of channel partners including distributors, value-added resellers & DMR’s. You will Coordinate product and sales training for channel partners’ salespeople as well as review certification / badging with partners. 

  • Evaluation of existing partner relationships and recruitment of new partners. 
  • Interacting with BMC Channel Sales, BMC sales and BMC VAR partners to help drive net new channel opportunities.
  • Business planning and opportunity identification with key partners.  
  • Assisting BMC Sales Team in the sales process with the below responsibilities: 
    • Channel Partner Support: ·  
    • Assisting BMC Partner Managers with agreement reseller signup /renewals ·  
    • Entering BMC reseller agreement request details into internal systems (SFDC, ACR) for approval ·  
    • Obtaining contract countersignatures from appropriate teams · 
    • Working with partners on access to BMC sites ·  
    • Managing and tracking certification / badging ·   
    • Supporting new partner ramping activities ·   
    • Knowledge of BMC solutions in order to provide accurate license quotes in a timely manner ·   
    • Review for approval Partner Deal Registration leads in BMC’s PRM system ·  
    • Working with partners based on request ·  
    • Driving revenue and closing opportunities by developing solutions in conjunction with indirect sales channel partners.   
    • Relationship Management ·  
    • Working with various internal and external teams involved in supporting partner transactions, including:  VAR Partners BMC Partner Managers BMC Channel Operations, Order management, 
  • English & Spanish Fluency (Verbal & Written skills)
  • Minimum 5 years Channel / Partner Management experience
