BU/Product Description & Job Overview/Role of the candidate:
The individual will work with a team of dedicated Password administrators located in Pune. Passwords team is responsible for generating license keys for all the new orders booked as well as renew the license keys per customer’s agreement within Oracle, Desktop generators, and other Partner portals.

Primary Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain a detailed and thorough understanding of the contract policies and procedures as they pertain to the administration, generation, and support of passwords utilized in the activation of software products.  Understanding must be sufficient to independently provide password support for standard issues and non-standard issues.  Provide input to department policies concerning changes in business practices and procedures that impact password support.
  • Maintain a detailed and thorough understanding and working knowledge of the order entry application utilized to record and track licensed software products and in the generation of software product passwords.  Knowledge of the application must be sufficient to allow for the independent verification, updating of password-related information, generation of passwords, distribution, and reporting of all aspects of passwords for software products.  Provide input to department policies concerning changes in business practices and procedures that impact the use of the application in password support.
  • Maintain a detailed and thorough understanding and working knowledge of the various password authorization utilities utilized by the entire product line.  Knowledge of the various password utilities must be sufficient to allow for the independent verification and validation of the parameters required by each password utility and a technical understanding of the various error messages and the appropriate corrective action required to initiate a solution.  Provide input to department policies concerning changes in business practices and procedures that impact the various password utilities.
  • Must be able to independently generate and distribute each password type in a timely and accurate manner
  • Independently respond to both verbal and written inquiries from customers, sales, technical support, and Customer Finance Operations personnel regarding the status and validity of passwords.  The response will require detailed research and interpretation of contractual obligations, order terms and conditions, and password utility requirements.
  • Independently monitor accounts and initiate appropriate action to add, update and/or correct the customer database in regards to product password information.  The Source of information may be derived from Customers, Sales Representatives, or Product Support.  Where corrective action requires input or action from others within the department or outside the department, communicate with the appropriate party and provide direction and guidance in the timely and accurate completion of the action.
  • Utilize both verbal and written communication skills to communicate with customers and internal personnel on contract and company policies and procedures in regards to the overall administration of Passwords.
  • Under limited or no supervision, provide coordinated support in regards to the order to cash process to both internal and external personnel.  Such support may include, but is not limited to, providing CPU verification reports to sales, verifying installed products by account, providing customers with licensed product details, and providing invoice history.
  • Demonstrate leadership and a high sense of interpersonal skills to provide direction, guidance, and support to the other Password Coordinators within the department on all standard and non-standard password-related issues.
  • Handle other non-specified assignments as may be periodically assigned by Department Manager.

Required Skills:
  • Two to four years of customer service experience with computer terminal information access.  
  • At least one-year of data entry experience.  
  • Basic PC skills in word processing and spreadsheet application are required.  
  • Must possess excellent organizational and communication, both verbal and written skills. 
  • Typing skills sufficient to perform accurate and timely data entry are required
