The BMC Experience Design Team is looking for a seasoned leader to drive the BMC Web Marketing project management function. This individual will manage day-to-day project management activities, provide guidance on project management policies and processes, oversee project management staff, and collaborate with other department leaders to develop projects and programs. This role will be a key contributor to evolving the BMC brand vision and accelerating our reputation as a premier provider of modern, relevant technology solutions that support the Autonomous Digital Enterprise.

Your role:
You will lead a team of seasoned web project managers to:
•Ensure projects are delivered on-time and within scope
•Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, files, standards and templates
•Communicate priorities, track progress. and coordinate across functions to ensure project milestones are completed on time
•Participate in stand-up meetings
•Anticipate potential project challenges
•Prepare presentation decks and slides as required with minimal supervision
•Help define project scope, shape consistent work paths, and bring clarity to evolving processes
•Facilitate department planning and integration with cross-functional planning, including project kick-offs, discovery meetings, stakeholder reviews, meeting agendas and notes, and follow-ups
•Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, marketing, and creative team to scope projects, define processes and milestones, and ensure we are on track to the required release date

Your Experience:
Table Stakes
•5+ years of experience working on web site projects
•2+ years of experience as a people manager or functional lead.
•Proven track record for planning, executing, and closing web projects and the ability to manage a project and its components simultaneously with minimal supervision
•Experience of managing a project management team
•Experience of managing the complete lifecycle of a web project with teams of 5 to 25 people
•Experience of project management using AGILE methodology 
•Strong skills in creating and maintaining web project and program plans, including risks, actions, issues, dependencies
•Highly efficient in resource planning and tasks assignment
•Knowledge of benefits and dependency mapping, risk management and resource planning
•Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent tools
•Line management or team leader experience
•Excellent written/oral communication skills for reports and presentations
•Diplomatic ability to influence others at multiple levels of the business
•Strong and demonstrated ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders
•Ability to competently mediate disagreements and negotiate agreeable resolutions
•Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or a degree in supply chain or business
•Experience with Adobe Experience Manager a plus
