We are currently looking to hire a manager in the Raleigh/Durham area to lead a team of 10-12 Business Development Representatives (BDRs).

The primary focus of BDRs is to identify potential new customers and sales opportunities in new accounts, identify retention and penetration opportunities in existing accounts, drive new sales pipeline and cross selling opportunities.


Primary responsibilities & experience we offer include:

Lead and manage 10-12 individual contributors in Cary 
Be responsible for driving pipeline in our 3 flagship portfolios of solutions: Digital Service & Operations Management (DSOM), Digital Business Automation (DBA) and Automated Mainframe Intelligence (BMC AMI & BMC Compuware)
Strong understanding of sales technology such as Salesforce; additional experience with tools such as Salesloft and ZoomInfo highly desired
Ongoing coaching of team around communication tactics and messaging
Utilize prospecting best practices, industry trends and market knowledge in a repeatable, scalable process
Participate and/or lead regular sales enablement workshops with solution experts in the ecosystem
Be a BMC brand ambassador both internally and externally
Engage with the field sales ecosystem to ensure productive relationship between BDRs and the account managers they support
Bring creativity, accountability and camaraderie to the team culture
Strong social selling and outreach skills


Overall you will have six main responsibilities in driving incremental revenue for BMC Software:

 

1.    Hiring and onboarding top talent

2.    Performance management to hit team plan in fiscal pipeline generation plan and individual targets;

3.    Coaching for excellence

4.    People & talent development

5.    Finding new and innovative ways to exceed on business goals

6.    Expanding the internal brand and value of the BMC inside sales division within the larger sales ecosystem


The Experience you will bring:


Must be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:
2 years + of Management/leadership experience in an inside sales environment
Adept at identifying and assessing potential sales opportunities
Match product and service solutions to customers' needs
Effective relationship and problem-solving skills
High level of emotional intelligence 
Effective listening/coaching/mentoring skills
Addressing difficult conversations and situations
Creative team-building and culture-strengthening
