BMC is looking for an experienced Real Estate and Facilities Manager to provide day to day leadership and management of the Real Estate portfolio for APAC as well as managing the performance and development of each facility. 

The Real Estate and Facilities Manager, APAC will be heavily involved in Real Estate transactions, space renovations, office relocations, and location disposition projects. This person will partner closely with building management, BMC site leadership teams, IT, HR, Finance, and a multitude of service vendors to ensure needs are met for all domestic and international locations across APAC. 

The ideal candidate has a track record of engaging employees at all levels, leading decentralized teams, and taking a proactive approach to their role. This is a highly visible and extremely service oriented role that requires the ability to manage a multitude of competing priorities.  

  • Creating an optimized BMC workspace through work with internal stakeholders and external resources
  • Managing the successful acquisition, management, renovation, and disposition of Corporate Real Estate and Facilities in BMC locations in APAC
  • Working with Real Estate brokers, Landlords and their representatives, project management companies, and other vendors as required
  • Optimizing real estate and facilities spend
  • Responsible for day-to-day facility operations. Ability to manage direct and indirect employees, contractors and vendors for a smooth, well-functioning and optimized facilities operation across countries
  • Managing all contracts & costs including new leases, current leases and facilities management
  • Working closely and productively with internal regional as well as corporate stakeholders such as procurement, IT, finance and others to provide best-in-class real estate and facilities services to internal customers
  • Providing regular project updates to management
  • Conducting analysis of project alternatives including financial information and budgets on real estate alternatives and managing to approved budgets
  • Working on Health & Safety, Physical Security and Transport Service

  • Ensure all BMC facilities meet local regulatory requirements
  • Travel as required
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • At least 10 years of experience in facilities services and real estate management, preferably in a service-oriented, technology driven business 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high degree of professionalism and the ability to communicate across geographies and cultures
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to engage direct and indirect reports, peers, and managers, especially in difficult situations
  • Must be fluent in English
