The Regional Sales Manager role is a key role to the APJ region designed to ensure day to day sales activity, field enablement and overall pipeline generation across the region for service management and IT Operations Management is driven with the appropriate level of discipline and focus. The core responsibilities can be summarized as follows:
  • Be a SaaS champion
  • DSOM PG – Helix messaging enablement and the Rollout of sales plays to BMC field and BMC partners.
  • DSOM Event lead (Event Content and Talk Track coordination)
  • SFDC Quality

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Achieving or exceeding sales quota targets through new business opportunities and total software bookings (APJ  Protect and Grow including SaaS and Services)
  • Forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales goals with high level of accuracy and predictability.
  • Ensuring sales opportunity pipeline sales process, data quality and hygiene is maintained.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of BMC’s Digital Operations and Service Management product offerings and competitive landscape.
  • Maintains a solid understanding of BMC’s complete product offerings, solution sets and the competitive landscape.
  • Enabling APJ DSOM Product Account Managers to seek new prospects and opportunities to drive account growth related to BMC’s Digital Service and Operations Management product portfolio
  • Collaborating with product marketing, field sales and marketing teams and senior executives to establish and execute pipeline generation sales plays and content for the region.
  • Collaborating with product marketing, field sales and marketing teams and Pre-Sales teams to educate and train sales personnel on BMC’s Digital Service and Operations Management capabilities, value proposition and differentiators.
  • Support BMC’s Partner teams with the execution of Partner sales plays and content.
  • Collaborating with multiple product business units to identify and build content for cross-sell sales play and growth opportunities.
  • Supporting sales personal on selective sales opportunities and being recognized by customers and partners as a Trusted Advisor through unquestionable integrity.

What you’ll bring to our BMC team:
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to deliver impactive and persuasive messages and work in a highly demanding environment.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and influence within a complex matrix organisational structure and selling eco-system partnered with an aptitude to work individually and within a team.
  • Adept at working within a changing environment with an innovative mindset.
  • Progressive enterprise software sales experience with demonstrable experience of managing and growing large strategic accounts.
  • Proven ability to build relationships at all levels including C’level partnered with a strong customer focus.
  • Commercial and financial acumen coupled with an aptitude to plan accounts strategically, understand prospect needs, articulate value solutions to clients, and make financial decisions which impact business success.
  • Keen interest in the operational challenges facing our customers and the trends and macro factors driving customer strategies in investment and business outcomes
