BU/PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
As a Consultant in Global Service Delivery team you will be responsible for delivering BMC solutions to our customer worldwide. As a part of the team you get an unique opportunity to meet customers and solve their business problem by consultative approach. Working in the team you will be responsible for managing latest BMC technologies and making sure customers get the maximum value from their investment.
Job Description:
A BMC Associate Consultant contributes to technical delivery engagements by performing the build / configuration of BMC solutions as specified in the approved Solution Design and Architecture Document for the project. You’ll work closely with the project team under guidance of Project Architect and Project Manager to ensure the implementation conforms to the approved design.
- Implementation / Delivery
- Works interactively with all project team, both internal and external.
- Build Phase: Applies technical, education, process knowledge and best practices to deliver consistent, high quality, production ready solutions, including Environment Preparation, Configuration, Build Customizations, Build Integrations
- Deliver Phase: Successfully moves the Customer into the production environment on the target BMC solution following the approved Deployment Plan. Production rollout success includes technical migration into the production environment and production testing.
- Transition Phase: Transition to BMC Support including any open defects or RFEs and project closeout activities, including Lessons Learned and Defects Reporting
Desired Technical Skills:
- Skills in technical areas which support the deployment and integration of BMC based
- Technical skills on at least one single product in the chosen product line – basic level
- Skills in technical areas which support the deployment and integration of BMC based solutions, including (basic to intermediate level): Operating Systems, Networking, Virtualization
