- Drafting and negotiating a broad range of product, licensing, subscription, confidentiality, and services agreements.
- Maintaining corporate governance for local subsidiary and supporting corporate changes.
- Providing legal support to RRHH, Global Procurement, and Finance.
- Closely collaborating with key cross-functional stakeholders.
- Performing continuous improvement of standard form agreements, policies and processes.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workloads and communicate with all levels of the organization including senior management.
- Developing strategies to deal with outside counsels in the Region, to direct their work and ensure their cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and capacity to work in multidisciplinary non-legal groups. Ability to prioritize work, effectively manage a large number of issues at one time.
- Law degree and 5-10 years of relevant in-house experience, preferably software licensing transaction experience.
- Knowledge of public contracting practices in Brazil.
- Licensed to practice, in Brazil.
- Strong negotiation skill.
- Ability to work in collaboration.
- Advanced communication and written skills.
- Fluency oral and written in English and Portuguese.
- Experience in with I.T. agreements is a strong plus.
