Control-M from BMC has been the category leading product for many years. To extend our market leadership position further, we launched BMC Helix Control-M, a SaaS version of the product, to expand our servable market, attract new buyers, and increase consumption with current customers. 

In this role, you will be a key member of the Control-M’s Solutions Marketing team responsible for engaging with technical personas to drive awareness of and consideration for our client’s automation and orchestration needs in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. You will lead the development and delivery of technical automation solutions & reference architectures, technical demos & tutorials, hands-on workshops in addition to planning and delivering technical enablement content for internal and external stakeholders. You will also serve as a technical advocate/evangelist for our client at conferences, summits, and events. 


- Creating technical collateral through engagement with customers, sales, product marketing, product management, and engineering
- Designing and developing demos, POC guides, blogs, technical white papers, reference architectures
- Designing and developing content for hands-on solution workshops
- Building and delivering technical enablement content for the field
- Serving as an internal and external technical evangelist for the company


- Designing and developing demos, POC guides, blogs, technical white papers, reference architectures
- 5+ years of technical/product marketing experience. Similar experience in an IT or engineering organization will be considered
- Subject matter expertise in cloud based data and automation solutions
- Automation solutions experience in any of the following or more is highly desirable. Airflow, AWS Lambda, AWS Bach, AWS Step Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Google Cloud Composer, Google Dataflow. Experience with BMC’s Control-M is a plus!
- Expertise in understanding data, telling stories and executing across channels to create a customer-focused experience
- Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills including ability to create compelling technical-oriented narratives
- Successfully launching and delivering new products / services into the market; ability to create clear plans and to mobilize an organization to execute
- Hands-on development and scripting experience with JSON and RESTful APIs
