Join us as a Service Cloud Technical Product Owner!

As the Service Cloud Technical Product Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the requirements, design, development, and deployment of the overall Salesforce Service Cloud solution. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, teammates, and delivery partners to implement the vision for service transformation.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: 
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to understand goals and challenges.
  • Work with business to ensure their scope and requirements are documented properly, including acceptance criteria, use cases, etc.
  • Entrench into the delivery team and be accountable for the solution requirements, design, development, and deployment.
  • Ensure the successful delivery of the vision on the Salesforce platform, partnering with the technology and business teams, as well as the chosen delivery partner for the program.
  • Work closely with adjacent teams to ensure solution requirements, design and delivery alignment.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps and applications available from 3rd parties on the Salesforce AppExchange.

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • You hold a BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications preferred: Service Cloud Consultant.
  • Your background includes 8+ years' experience in developing and delivering technology solutions using Agile methodology and 5+ years' experience in managing projects in positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting and systems development.
  • You have solid experience gathering and analyzing information and designing comprehensive solutions that are flexible and adaptable.
  • You have a good understanding and experience with SupportLogic and JIRA.
  • You have strong knowledge and experience in the best practices on the Salesforce platform (Service Cloud specifically)
  • Expertise/Experience with the development of chatbots and automation as it relates to case deflection.
  • Possess strong communication skills, especially in communicating complex concepts to disparate audiences, as well as demonstrate creative and prescriptive thinking.

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $119,850 - $199,750
