Description and Requirements

As Lead Product Manager on the BMC Helix Employee Experience team, you will primarily be tasked with defining and launching next-generation employee experience solutions. Current Employee Experience products are BMC Helix Digital Workplace, BMC Helix Business Workflows, and BMC Helix Chatbot.
Each day, you will work with customers, engineering teams, product managers, designers, marketers, and sales to build and deliver products that people and companies love. You will be charged with delivering and driving the adoption of the product portfolio. You love making products that delight customers. You understand that great products balance simplicity and robust features to solve real-world problems.
The successful candidate will have a global role based in Pune, India.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for delivering detailed product requirements for upcoming products based on subject matter expertise and deep understanding of the market and from working closely with customers, analysts, and business stakeholders
  • Understands and analyzes customer workflows at a deep level to translate market requirements to product development and the value proposition to downstream functions (marketing, sales, operations)
  • Conducts competitive analysis and market assessment for establishing go-to-market strategies that capitalize on market trends, customer needs and competitive positioning
  • Properly segments the market and creates specific product strategies, roadmaps and tactics to address each segment's needs and requirements
  • Manages the design, development, and enhancement of products to meet organizational and business objectives
  • Communicates product status and roadmap evolution to senior management
  • Builds effective relationships with sales, customers, partners, and internal groups
  • Supports sales and pre-sales to effectively demonstrate the latest “employee experience” solutions
  • Presents and discusses product roadmaps to partners and customers
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
  • 10+ years Product Management experience working with a software engineering development team; recent role 5+ years product management
  • History of delivering cloud applications and platform solutions
  • Experience documenting user stories, requirements and design 
  • Experience working with UX teams designing features
  • Excellent communication, presentation skills 
  • Experience with AI/ML use cases and their implementation
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence cross-functional, global teams  
Preferred Experience and skills:
Experience with IT Service Management or Enterprise Service Management
