Description and Requirements
BMC is looking for a Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join a dynamic group developing next generation cloud-based solutions for IT management, experimenting with cutting-edge technologies and developing a service for a Data Driven Performance Prediction product, based on known industry and specific algorithms.
In this role, you will be a part of a team of engineers, creating user facing service for data analysis and prediction, producing PoC with different ML algorithms. Take part contributing to existing platform and services.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop features according to PM definition, and frameworks of the platform
- Collaborate with various teams and render messaging according to teams to make sure joined work is efficient and smooth.
- Take part in design with architects of scalable services using latest patterns and techniques including industry used ML/AI algorithms.
- Leading design and code reviews for other team members.
Requirements:
- Vast experience in software development (preferably in Java)
- Knowledge and understanding of ML/AI Ops algorithms such as Prophet, K-means, KNN, GLM or other commonly used
- Experience in Elastic, Kubernetes and AWS based services
- Experience working with cross functional teams (R&D, CS, DevOps, SecOps, PM)
- Experience in Web Services protocols (REST, JSON) implementation
- Experience in containers as environment for dev as well as runtime
- Great interpersonal skills, ability to work in good collaboration with other teams to develop joint features and services
- Ability to fluently communicate or present in English, spoken and written
Advantages:
- Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, architecture and design
- Knowledge of value prediction and model matching.
- Experience in Service Mesh or Istio, AIOps service development, data labeling, Kibana etc
