BMC Helix is looking for a
 full-stack developer with extensive programming experience, adhering to design best practices and coding standards to deliver world class enterprise Platform for Multi-Cloud Services. Excellent team player who will work with all stake holders and cross teams to understand the requirements clearly and deliver with quality using CI/CD process.  

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

Working closely with product managers and consuming services teams for requirements understanding; and with architects for service and module designs. Planning for high quality and timely deliverables. Shift-left by enforcing unit tests covering critical code paths, addressing security and performance issues upfront.


Skills Required:

  • A team lead who is passionate about quality and demonstrates creativity and innovation in building and enhancing the product, with excellent problem solving, debugging, analytical and communication skills.
  • Quickly learn and adapt new languages and technologies as required for a successful deliveraly of the product.
  • Drive the release planning and iteration planning meetings, with proper feature break-down and sprint mappings, with accurate estimations
  • Ability to write incremental code as part of continuous integration and continuous delivery
  • Work closely with peers and other stakeholders to understand the entire end user perspective.
  • Mentor junior team members and be an excellent team player
  • Ensure performance and scalability are integral part of each delivery.

To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • You have minimum 12-14 years of experience with Full-Stack Development, using CI/CD.
  • Minimum 5 yrs of Scala development experience.
  • Excellent logical, analytical, debugging and communication skills
  • Conversant with OOPS concept and MVC architecture
  • Hands on experience in Advanced/Object-Oriented Java, Springboot, AngularJS 5.x+, NodeJS, jQuery
  • Experience using web pack, express, angular cli, unit testing frameworks
  • Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 
  • Worked on Integration with Web Services (JSON/REST/SOAP) 
  • Worked with Jenkins, Jira and Git or similar tools
  • Must have worked on large scale enterprise products (n-tier architecture)
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Implementing automated testing platforms
  • Ability to adapt in existing and new environment
  • Ability to learn new concepts and software is necessary  
  • Experienced in working with Agile development methodology and working with virtual team.

Whilst these are nice to have, our team can help you develop in the following skills:

• Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Python, Node.js, C/C++ 
• Automation Frameworks such as Robot Framework

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 4,542,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
