Challenge yourself as a part of a dynamic, fast paced team and join Helix! We are looking for an experienced Lead Contracts Manager with a proven track record of providing outstanding and timely legal support. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to business, product and sales executives and drive strategic deals and initiatives with some of our largest customers. You will negotiate complex legal agreements and work with cross-functional teams of lawyers, finance and accounting specialists, product managers and sales teams in order to solve legal and business challenges. You will be part of a highly-collaborative, close-knit team and work in an exciting, fast paced environment.
What you will do every day:
  • Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of licensing, software as a service, data privacy, confidentiality, and professional services agreements
  • Be the first point of contact in Legal for the Sales organization
  • Identify, advise on and help resolve legal and business issues in a practical manner while still protecting BMC Helix's interests
  • Respond promptly to requests for help from internal clients.

Background/Qualifications:
  • Required 4-year college degree; JD not required
  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience drafting and negotiating complex technology-related/SaaS agreements in support of a sales organization
  • Experience working with federal or public sector entities is a requirement
  • Contract Manager Certification is a Plus

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.

At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $111,525 - $185,875
