BMC’s SaaS Ops team is looking for a DevOps Tech Lead to join us and design, develop, and implement complex applications, using the latest technologies. 

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

  • Participate in all aspects of SaaS product development, from requirements analysis to product release and sustaining
  • Drive the adoption of the DevOps process and tools across the organization. 
  • Learn and implement cutting-edge technologies and tools to build best of class enterprise SaaS solutions
  • Deliver high-quality enterprise SaaS offerings on schedule
  • Develop Continuous Delivery Pipeline 
  • Initiate projects and ideas to improve the team’s results 
  • On-board and mentor new employees
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
  • You have 10+ years of overall experience and/or 7+ years in a DevOps / SRE role with strong hands-on exposure
  • You have proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using best practices
  • You have strong expertise in Kubernetes and experience working with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
  • You have hands-on experience with Git, JIRA, and common DevOps toolchains such as GitHub, Jenkins, Spinnaker, and Maven
  • You have experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation/ARM, along with scripting in Bash, Python, or Go
  • You have exposure to monitoring and observability tools, microservices, and API-based architectures
  • You are a strong problem-solver with effective communication and collaboration skills and an Agile mindset

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 4,542,800 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 

The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
