Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Desktop System administrator, you will be responsible -

To provide day by day support for desktop and laptop, on-site or ‘remote support’ to end-users for APAC region. Working hours would be India early morning or general shift

Effective employee onboarding and off-boarding by following regional best practices

As responsible site in charge, build strong relation with local and functional leaders and admins

Typically, you shall provide support across hardware and software issues for Windows and MAC.

Responsible in handling incoming requests for new mobile device, printer management, vendor management and cross functional team coordination as and when needed

IT Assets Life Cycle Management: Forecast, Deploy, Support, dispose IT hardware and update inventory on timely fashion

You are required to support your immediate team with the on-going support of the local sites in India and another remote site if needed.   

Active participation on ongoing IT projects and meet deadlines by completing tasks on time

Effective documentation of process, policies and keep them up to date

QUALIFICATION:

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Experience in Windows 10 and MacOS

Microsoft Office O365 Suite

Active Directory (*user/server admin/permissions)

Microsoft Teams and Skype for Business

Virtual desktop (*VMware/Parallels)

MDM, mobile device management (*Airwatch)

McAfee / Crowdstrike / BCM / JAMF

Encryption (*McAfee and Bitlocker)

Ticketing systems (*Remedy, JIRA etc)

DESIRED (NICE-TO-HAVE) SKILLS:

Proactive: Comfortable working on your own initiative, anticipate trending issues before they happen and be vocal when requiring assistance or simply wishing to share/discuss.

Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to the constantly changing demands of the business.

Virtual Team Player: You will be an integral part of our global team spread across various locations so you should be comfortable reaching out and working in a truly virtual and collaborative team environment.
