The purpose of the role is to lead strategic initiatives of Customer Success India. The role plays multiple roles, of an advisor, confidant, gatekeeper, and strategic consultant to the Customer Success teams across all Geo’s.

Reporting to Customer Success (CS) India Leadership, this position has responsibility for establishing and sustaining governance and administration of strategic initiatives and projects in India and other Geos as necessary. The incumbent will be responsible for program management, reporting, risk management, and will lead the ownership and dissemination of program and project management standards and governance. She/he would ensure CS programs are managed efficiently/effectively and also actively contribute to the team, providing views, analytical support and counsel.


  • Stakeholder management including Business Management and Technology Management
  • Take ownership to drive and deliver CS programs across India and elsewhere.
  • Collaborate with different functions of BMC (Services, Support, R&D, Sales, Operations, IS&T, etc..) to drive the initiatives, seek the necessary support in driving outcome of the programs
  • Serve as single point of contact for India CS programs. Manage India wide programs like QBR, customer visits, etc..
  • Lead the collection, co-ordination, analysis and distribution of management information across initiatives
  • Define KPI’s, establish reporting requirements and manage reporting process
  • Champion best practice and lead by example in implementation of existing/new PMO processes/procedures
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement across CS programs and work with leadership team to lead change Act as subject matter expert to support implementation of project management best demonstrated practices
  • Own creation of monthly site snapshots, QBR decks, Executive Decks, etc.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong program management and PMO experience managing initiatives across multiple businesses
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, matured leader with a keen eye for details
  • Dynamic, effective communicator at all levels, in both structured and matrix setup
  • Proven experience managing enterprise level initiatives/program timelines, risks, scope and budget
  • Proactive and resourceful, results-oriented and highly organized in managing across organization
  • Exceptional influencing and motivational skills with the ability to resolve differences of opinion/approach
  • Developed management skills to lead/motivate/develop others through vision and strategic positioning
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience applying best practices to methodology, standards, reporting, templates, tools, and controls across project/program management and governance

Education & Experience:

  • Overall 14+ years' of program/project management experience working for Services organization working with enterprise customers
  • PMP Certification - Desirable
  • MS Office advanced level skills with Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Proficiency in MS Project, MS Visio and MS SharePoint
