- Implement theories and practices of instructional design to design and develop effective ILTs, WBTs, videos, demos, playbooks, assessments, and learning paths.
- Extensively use ID experience during the complete learning lifecycle—that is, the end-to-end process of requirements and content analysis, design and development, delivery/deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
- Communicate and coordinate with SMEs and stakeholders located in various geographical locations to create high-impact learning and enablement materials.
- Quickly familiarize yourself with BMC processes, policies, business model, and ways of working to develop accurate and effective training materials.
- Review training content and provide ID/edit feedback to other instructional designers.
- Upload and manage learning objects on a Learning Management System and/or a Learning Experience Platform.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the fields of instructional design and content development with attention to detail.
- Proven experience designing and developing training materials for both technical and non-technical subjects for adult learners.
- Excellent writing skills to create concise, creative, effective, and grammatically correct content
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint and Word), Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), and Camtasia.\Excellent graphic design skills (in PowerPoint, and optionally, other graphic design tools)
- Strong video scripting, creation, and editing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
- Ability to effectively multitask in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and work independently with minimum supervision.
- Experience uploading and managing content on a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Experience creating and managing content on a Learning Experience Platform (LXP).
- Experience facilitating/co-facilitating virtual sessions.
- Experience with a design tool such as Canva or similar.
