This position is responsible for positioning and supporting Education-related business development activities across Germany, BeNeLux, Austria, Switzerland and Eastern Europe.

The successful candidate will:
  • Develop partnerships with the field Sales, Channel Sales, Services, Telesales, existing customers, and prospects to identify education opportunities that help achieve Education's results.
  • Drive increases in education bookings and attachment rates in product and services sales opportunities through relationships developed with Sales and Services management team in their assigned Area.
  • Drive increased education revenue through collaboration with Account Directors and sales teams. 
As Education Sales Representative you’ll be responsible for:
  • Achieving personal revenue and bookings targets for assigned area.
  • Attain regional education bookings targets through independent initiatives and collaboration with field organizations.
  • Support stand-alone education proposal development and presentation to existing customers and prospects.
  • Be a conduit for communicating company education strategy and offerings to the Sales Team, Services, inside sales, customers, prospects, and partners.
  • In product sales cycles: proactively work with the Sales Team and Services to attach education to every opportunity.
  • Remain involved during, and ensure the customer is satisfied with, the delivery of education.
  • Regularly visit customers to assess satisfaction and identify follow-up education opportunities.
  • Oversee the application and implementation of new work processes as they relate to Education transactions.
  • Use skills and understanding of consequences and implications of decisions and actions to help colleagues, specifically in Education inside sales, Direct Sales and Services weigh risks in customer proposals.
  • Estimated 35% travel
 As Educations Sales Representative your skills & experience will ideally include:
  • Fluent German and English language skills. 
  • Very strong business understanding to demonstrate/explain how company technology education can fulfill the business requirements of customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong awareness of technology and how training complements the technical solution.
  • Prior experience selling education or services products (3+ years desired)
  • Experience selling in a high-volume
  • Technical skill sufficient to understand education products and customer needs to tailor/customize education
  • Skilled in using all MS-Office products
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and ability to work independently to exceed job requirements and assigned quota
  • Able to quickly learn current selling processes
  • Project management and administration capabilities
  • Personable, team player
  • Understanding of IT solutions and job roles
  •  Generally works without consulting their manager
  • Independent decisions are made daily
