BMC is looking for a strategic professional who has successful experience in results-driven integrated marketing and account-based marketing programs (verticals and competitive) that drive growth while showcasing hands-on experience developing and implementing industry and competitive programs that include live, virtual, and specific ABM elements to increase opportunity pipeline.

Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success in a marketing role for a B2B software company with program, campaign, ABM, and demand generation responsibilities for new customer capture and retention, expansion and growth of existing customers. Extensive experience in integrated marketing efforts inclusive of product/solution/vertical marketing, and direct and indirect sales. This role requires the development, execution and measurement of all assigned marketing programs in conjunction with the BMC Demand Center and Field Marketing counterparts. 

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Develop targeted global vertical and competitive marketing programs and campaigns for specific named accounts and apply ABM principles and techniques to increase pipeline with high quality opportunities for both direct and indirect sales teams
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing programs (both vertical and competitive) using all forms of traditional and new marketing channels available to reach target personas including predictive intent analytics
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to design effective programs, in-sync with both BMC corporate and target market launches and related activities
  • Optimize programs using metrics and data including but not limited to lead volume and conversion, program pipeline, velocity in funnel metrics, opportunity conversion 
  • Coordinate with content development teams, creative services, and outside agencies to develop rich content that drives results in pipeline creation
  • Develop integrated complementary strategies and plans with internal digital brand teams or agencies that develop advertising, banner/display ads and retarget to reach target audiences, including co-branded campaigns with partners
  • Understand the competitive environment and put BMC’s most compelling value differentiators into programming design and execution
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years’ experience in high-tech B2B-facing marketing roles with demonstrated success in managing global ABM programs and funnel management
  • 3+ years’ experience in the Telecommunications (including Telco Manufacturing) and Utilities industries along with other key industries (Financial Services, Healthcare, Retail, Manufacturing – nice to haves)
  • BA in business, communications, telecommunications or marketing or the equivalent (MBA a plus)
  • Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget
  • Proficient understanding of database marketing, CRM, marketing automation (Eloqua, SFDC and other marketing automation and analytics tools)
  • Solid communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and 1:1 collaboration)
  • Strong analytical skills applicable to target market analysis and funnel management/related KPI’s, forecasting and the ability to adapt strategies and execution tactics as needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across teams, customers, sales, partners, vendors
  • High self- motivation with a sense of urgency
  • ITSMA Certified a plus
