Join us as a Director of Finance for our SaaS Operations Team!

As the Finance Director of SaaS Operations at BMC, you will serve as trusted finance advisor to the SaaS Operations team and have responsibility for budget, expense, forecasting, data center capacity planning, cost analysis, investment business cases and more. BMC is investing heavily in transforming our operations through CFM (Cloud Financial Management) tools and deployment of end-to-end FinOps practices, making this a very exciting time to join the team and be part of the transformation.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:

• Business partnering with SaaS Operations VP and directs, add value through insights and decision support
• Maintain SaaS P&L and KPIs
• Closely partner with Business Unit finance teams to understand how BU priorities will impact SaaS Operation spending plans/forecasts (e.g. topline plans, product roadmaps, R&D initiatives, sales plays)
• Provide guidance to sales and business leaders on sales pricing and related gross margin expectations from sales proposals/quotes
• Drive the creation of new methodologies for consistently and accurately reporting gross margins trends by Customer, Product, Geography, Cloud provider (e.g. AWS vs. Azure)
• Annual and long-range planning, forecasts, zero-base budgeting, strategic planning, M&A activity support, maintain a quarterly reporting package of core performance metrics

To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• You have 10+ years of experience in a Finance related role with 5+ years previous management experience
• Your background includes experience in financially supporting business functions such as data center operations, SaaS operations or cloud provider infrastructures
• Expertise in SaaS (business model, topline and operational acumen)
• AWS cost optimization including the use of AWS cost management tools
• Experience and/or certifications in FinOps and CFM tools (e.g. Cloudability) preferred
