Description and Requirements
- ITSM
- DWP/MyIT

- Maintain BMC Product platform availability as per agreed availability commitment
- Integrate BMC products to each other and third-party applications.
- Develop new customizations, integrations and reports
- Troubleshoot BMC Application, customizations, integration issues.
- Follow the ITIL standard best processes.
- Recommend & plan upgrades/patches and roll out of new features
- Drive adoption of the BMC solution across Customer environments
- Work closely with Service Owners to review service delivery quality with focus on continuous improvement
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (preferred)
- ITIL v3 Foundation Certification
- BMC Certified professional
- 5(+) relevant years technical IT experience that includes:
- 3(+) relevant years BMC product line experience or in a competitor product.
- 3(+) years working in Services projects (preferably Customer facing in a professional consultancy capacity).
- Experience in Administration, Operations, Customizations, Integrations, Performance tuning, Patch implementation, Upgrades, and development of BMC Solutions
- Should have Professional Services Experience
- Experience on Windows/UNIX/LINUX operating systems
- Good knowledge of Virtualization, networking and database concepts
- Well organized with a positive attitude, ability to work in customer facing env & should be able to communicate with Customers, Vendors, and other internal groups as required.
- Works well in teams providing strong, relevant input and allows ideas from others to be shared and used when appropriate. Interacts well with project and Customer teams to contribute to the good of the project.
- Effective communication skills in English & Spanish (verbal and written).
- Willing to work in shifts, weekend and on-call support will be required.
- Written and verbal communication skills for project team engagement
- Prioritization / Management time to deliver on assigned deliverables and project schedule
- Email and phone skills / etiquette
- Proven ability to meet assigned timelines with high quality, complete deliverables in unsupervised, sometimes remote, situations.
- Proven ability to work within high-pressure teams physically and virtually.
- Willing shares ideas and knowledge with other colleagues promoting good practice.
- Ability to strategically solve complex Customer problems by using various communications, testing, and critical thinking techniques.
