This group is responsible for managing latest BMC technologies and making sure customers get the maximum value from their investment.   


Job Description:

You will provide technical post-sales services for enterprise software solutions throughout for BMC’s worldwide customers. The Professional Services Consultant will provide consulting services. Engagements typically begin by analyzing the customer's business requirement, application development, testing and/or IT infrastructure support organizations and processes. This is followed by the creation and presentation of a customized architecture and deployment plan. You will then install, integrate and customize the product and provide formal knowledge transition sessions, with some part of work done at the customer's location. You must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment since they may be working on multiple projects simultaneously.


  • Responsible for leading and/or participating in small teams comprised of BMC, partner and customer resources to deliver required outcomes and produce additional business with BMC clients.
  • Understands how to apply technology to improve the operational effectiveness or efficiency of specific functions or applications.
  • Implement, customize, and configure BMC products.
  • Integrate BMC products to each other and third-party applications.
  • Improve the quality and efficiency of the solutions delivered to BMC clients as a means to improve BMC business margins.
  • Accountable to client for achieving specific outcomes by delivering services as directed by the project manager and technical lead.
  • Ability to transfer knowledge of the BMC approach to business service management.


Requirements:


  • Experience 6+ years with TrueSight Operation Management TSOM (formerly known as BPPM)
  • Working knowledge of MRLs, PSL and various integration techniques
  • Good to have working knowledge of TrueSight Capacity Optimization, TSAVM and Entuity
  • Experience with integration methodologies like SOAP Web Services, REST APIs etc.
  • Experience on Python/Perl or any other scripting technologies
  • Experience of working on various Operating Systems (preferably Linux), Network devices and Databases
  • Excellent presentation, documentation and communication skills
  • Must be familiar with other IT management technologies and have a working knowledge of IT operations and management.
  • Experience in systems design and development experience in enterprise computing environments.
