Description and Requirements
- You will be working in mainframe environments as System Engineer or Production control and also supporting Workload Automation and Output Management tools/Implementations.
- You should have 6+ years of mainframe Development background in design, analysis and coding: COBOL (CICS), JCL, CICS, Control-M etc
- Should have working knowledge of mainframe operating system, sub systems, storage, hardware, software and ISV tools
- Should have knowledge of creating and managing Job Scheduling Definitions, specify scheduling parameters, conditions and resources, able to use calendars for scheduling of jobs, use of SMART Tables.
- Should have good Professional exposure to MVS, JES2, TSO, SDSF, ISPF (commands, functions, EDIT, DSLIST, Dataset & Library Utilities), JCL knowledge, Batch ABEND resolution process, Cobol.
- Should have working experience & knowledge on COBOL, DB2, CICS, REXX & IBM utilities such as: IEBGENER, IDCAMS, IECOPY, IEBCOMPR & IEHLIST, IEFBR14, IEBUPDATE, SORT/MERGE utilities.
- User Support, Batch monitoring, problem management and incident management of business applications. and supporting tester, supporting UAT and Go Live support
- ISPW, Topaz, Security, Compuware, Mainframe DevOps
- ZOS ,TSO, ISPF, IBM utilities (ADRDSSU, ICKDSF, etc).
- JCL, REXX, DF/SMS,RACF ,CICS (Cobol), Db2, IMS, MQ, VM, Linux
- BMC Products – Control-M/ Mainview /Compuware Products such as Topaz
- DB2,CICS,Distributed systems
- Control-M implantations distributed environments.
- Mainframe DevOps, Mainframe Modernization/Migration
